Browser extensions

M47 has no application server, analytics, ads, or telemetry. The page restyler reads styles and page text locally to change appearance and, when requested, create a reader view. Page content is not sent to M47 or recorded.

Modes and per-site hostname preferences are stored in your browser's local extension storage. Version 0.2 migrates settings from the prototype's browser sync storage and removes those old sync keys. Your browser may take time to propagate that deletion to other devices.

The separate new-tab extension stores only your quick-link names and addresses in local extension storage. It does not read your browser bookmarks or webpage content. Following a saved link navigates to that website normally.

Generator website

The website host receives normal requests for the app and bundled assets and may keep standard access logs under its own policy. M47 adds no analytics. Editing and importing happen on this device. Drafts are saved in local browser storage; the application shell is cached for offline use.

Export downloads files to your device. A share link contains the complete panel in its URL fragment. Anyone you give the link to can read that content. Fragments are not sent in HTTP requests, but a browser's history, synchronization, clipboard, and recipients may retain the URL.

Search concept

The Google-inspired search concept opens Google in a new tab and sends your query only when you submit a search. It does not save queries or fetch remote suggestions. Example buttons fill the input locally. Google and linked services apply their own privacy policies.

Video concept

The YouTube concept loads thumbnails from YouTube and connects to its embedded player only when you choose a video. Search opens YouTube in a new tab. Watch Later stores video IDs in this browser's local storage; M47 does not receive your saved list. YouTube applies its own privacy policy to thumbnail, player, and search requests.

Generative screensaver

The screensaver generates instrument data locally. Its optional observation band can show device UTC time or fetch public earthquakes from USGS and planetary Kp from NOAA SWPC. Network feeds are off by default. Selecting one connects directly to that provider every five minutes while active. The provider receives normal connection information, including your IP address; requests omit cookies and referrers. No API key or location is supplied. Observations remain in memory and are not added to the offline cache.

Display and feed preferences stay in local storage. Choose Off to stop feed requests. The Windows host permits page requests only for its bundled content and the two documented feed URLs. It blocks external navigation. WebView2 runtime maintenance follows Microsoft's own settings.

Your controls

Use “Clear all site overrides” to remove extension exceptions. Reset the workshop draft, clear the site's browser data to remove stored drafts and cache, or uninstall an extension to remove its local data.
